The Optical Illusion Dress

At its best, all fashion should be an optical illusion that flatters the figure, emphasizing one's best points and cunningly disguising those that we'd rather didn't exist at all. Every woman hankers after the ideal hour-glass figure with full hips, voluptuous cleavage and a nipped in waist but only an estimated 8% of us are lucky to have. Now thanks to the latest optical illusion dress, those who aren't "blessed"; be it plus sized or thin, can FAKE it. A perfect example is Kate Winslet in a dress by Stella McCartney winter 2011 collection that featured a black panel that whittled inches off her waist.

I just had to get in on the trend and made one using plain and patterned Daviva Ankara.
