Summer, summer, summer time, summer time!!!!!!!!!!
Summer is upon us people, its time to break out your shorts, crop tops and sheer numbers. Show some skin!!!! You are sexy. Skinny, thick, tall or short, You are beautiful and perfect just the way God created you.
Stripes, florals, colored blazers, ornate geometrics, mind-bending swirls and
spots are all no brainers for this summer. Here is a recap of all the hot summer trends
HEAD TO TOE PRINTS
A sure-fire way to ignite style envy this season is to mismatch your patterns. Look to D&G, Peter Pilotto
and Mary
Katrantzou for inspiration. Keep things clean with a
uniform print from head-to-toe, like Diane von
Furstenberg, Anna
Sui and Erdem. Be inspired by this style set i created showing a perfect way to pull off this trend.
VINTAGE PRINCESS
Think Marc
Jacobs and Proenza
Schouler, while Valentino's
lipstick red coat conjured classic car glamour. Prim plaids, from pastel checks to classic tablecloth ginghams,
brought a prim and preppy air to Jil
Sander and Rochas,
while Prada's muscle-car
print is the motif to covet.
For those who can bare midriff will show off those
cheerleaders abs with crop tops. But bare in mind, a mere glimpse is enough. Finally, the only accessory you need to complete your look is a
pair of cat's eye sunglasses for a perfect hit of. Be inspired by another style set i created, I paired a floral crop top with high waist shorts and a jacket, and accessorized with cat eye sunglasses and wedge sandals.
AFRICANA BAYBAY!!!
Traditional references continue to inspire. Animal prints are a perennial favourite, Safari suiting is also back, with khaki jackets, crisp skirts and
white shirts still holding appeal, while Balenicaga
brought modernity to the look with safari trousers featuring a
techno sheen.
This season's Africana also mixes ethnic prints, raffia-work,
tribal sketches and intricate beading into a modish melting pot of
ancient techniques and avant-garde ideas. Here, I mixed ethnic print shorts with a statement collar shirt.
STATEMENT TROUSERS/SHORTS
This spring/summer, let your legs take centre stage in a pair of the season's brightest statement print trousers. While cuts range from everything from sleek and straight at Balmain, Sportmax and Erdem to breezy and billowing at Salvatore Ferragamo and Fendi, there is no end to the array of patterns and colours that adorned the trousers.
Florals bloomed at Mary Katrantzou and Peter Pilotto, paisley prints and kaleidoscopic swirls abounded at D&G and Jil Sander and stripes lined legs at Fendi.

PEPLUM FLARE
With fashion's gaze firmly resting on the waist, there's no better way to dress your midriff than with a peplum - it's spring's big silhouette story. A surprisingly versatile addition to your new season wardrobe, chic peplums add a new dimension to skirt suits and separates. Zac Posen, Giles, Celine and Dior added peplums to sharp tailoring, giving femininity to classic workwear. Alexander McQueen, Jason Wu and Vera Wang, meanwhile, gave the trend its prettiest incarnation with peplums of layered lace of pretty frills.
