Weekend Style: colored denim

 It's hard to miss the season's most prominent denim trend: blinding color.

COLOR IS THE NEW DRUG. It is fresh, optimistic, fun and pretty. It also allows for a great range of self expression. Potent shades of lavender, pink, green and yellow are hitting the streets and getting the full treatment in the spring/summer fashion. To start, we suggest you take tips from our latest Style Guide and the modish muse Bimpe; pictured above, who was out and about recently wearing a pair of purple skinny jeans, a green/white color block slouchy tank, and lace platforms.  By pairing her colored denim with classic pieces, specifically the tank and heels, our muse has toned down the bright color aspect of the pants without detracting from them. SOPHISTICATED

I love mixing monochrome with 'mustards' and 'reds' and i think they go perfectly. For a sophisticated/elegant yet fashion forward look, Instead of a dull black or white top, i decided to go for a mustard top and a red slim belt but toned down the look with black red bottom heels (christian louboutin, I love) and a black chanel bag

 

 

For make up ideas, i think you should go for a bold red lip and subtle eyes like Dita Von Teese.

CASUAL CHIC 

For a casual chic look, I paired the monochrome skirt with red flats, a white top and black Zara shopper.
