Neutral was the color palette this weekend at the the 25th annual Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles, and I decided to share some of what i think were the best styles, pre-slime of course!
Taylor Swift
The country star chose an
ivory chiffon Maria Lucia Hohan halter-neck dress and strappy gold
Nicholas Kirkwood heels to accept Nickelodeon’s Big Help Award from
Michelle Obama.
Michelle Obama
The First Lady made a
surprise appearance to present The Big Help Award to Taylor Swift. Obama
chose an embellished Wes Gordon tunic and silver metallic jeans for the
occasion.
Kristen Stewart
Kristen Stewart, who accepted the award for Favorite Movie Actress
walked the orange carpet in a bold blue long-sleeved lace mini dress by
Stella McCartney paired with matching suede Barbara Bui pumps. A sleek
ponytail, silver stacking rings, and poppy nail polish finished off the
look.
Selena Gomez
The teen star picked up two awards, Favorite Female Singer and Favorite
TV Actress, in an embellished Dolce and Gabbana crop top and matching
skirt. She teamed the look with pink Cesare Paciotti heels, beachy
waves, and Ippolita jewelry.
Emma Stone
The newly-blond actress stuck to
a neutral palette in a cream Antonio Berardi design and taupe Alejandro
Ingelmo ankle-strap wedges. Irene Neuwirth jewelry finished off the
look.
Heidi Klum
Heidi Klum went minimal in a curve-hugging cream mini dress and thigh-high gray suede boots, both by Roland Mouret.
Katy Perry
Katy Perry took home the award
for Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie wearing a green slime-printed
skirt and neon top from Gerlan Jeans. Matching Prada peep-toe pumps and a
high ponytail completed the look.
Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj worked a dress
covered with ticket stubs to present the award for Favorite Music Group
to Big Time Rush. She topped off the look with a pink headband, leg
warmers, and teddy bear-embellished boots.
Miranda Cosgrove
The star
added edge to her backless blue leather Porter Grey
dress with black booties and a gold Edie Parker clutch.
Victoria Justice
Victoria Justice, whose series Victorious
took home the blimp statuette for Favorite TV Show, brought a pop of
color to the orange carpet in a coral Elizabeth and James short suit
paired with a ruffled white blouse and crystal-studded Valentino
booties. "I thought it was great for spring," Justice told reporters of
her outfit.

actress Isabelle Fuhrman wore blue floral shorts and matching
blouse by Jason Wu, the shoes are Casadei.
Ariel Winter
Modern Family’s Ariel
Winter worked a white lattice Cynthia Rowley dress and black suede Aldo
wedges on the orange carpet.
Sarah Hyland
The Modern Family
actress brightened up the orange carpet in a poppy wraparound Myne dress
accessorized with a gold Kotur clutch and Cesare Paciotti strappy
sandals.
Ashley Tisdale
Ashley Tisdale cinched her
Kymerah handkerchief hem dress with a wide black belt, and paired the
design with fringed B Brian Atwood heels and a black Edie Parker clutch.

posed together on the orange carpet. Stenberg chose a Tony Ward dress
and metallic Kate Spade brogues, while Shields opted for a printed Marc
by Marc Jacobs skirt and matching pink top.

paired with pink peep-toe Giuseppe Zanotti pumps.

Shipka chose a Sixties-style shift dress and low, beige heels for the
event. A topknot and minimal makeup finished the look.

McCurdy accepted the award for Funniest TV Sidekick wearing a sequined
Basix dress and white Miu Miu heels.

Dancing with the Stars’
Karina Smirnoff posed for photos in a curve-hugging lace design, which
she paired with shoulder-dusting earrings and bow-topped two-tone pumps.
Willow Smith
Willow Smith toughened up her
white Chanel dress with a cropped leather jacket, a detachable collar,
loads of bangles, and fringed Chanel biker boots.
